Slack

Shodan Monitor can send notifications to Slack using their webhook API. Follow the steps below to get setup a Slack notifier:

  1. Create a webhook URL in Slack by following these directions: https://api.slack.com/messaging/webhooks

  2. Copy the webhook URL generated from the above step

  3. Click here to create the notifier in Shodan Monitor.

  4. Paste the webhook URL into the form

  5. (optional) Provide a description (ex. Slack channel xyz)

  6. Select Apply to existing asset groups if you want to get notifications from all asset groups delivered to Slack

  7. Click on the Add Notifier button to save the settings

  8. Done! You've successfully connected Shodan Monitor and Slack.
