Discord

To receive notifications in Discord we will take advantage of Discord's webhooks feature and its support for the Slack API. Follow the steps below to get everything setup with Discord:

1. Open the Discord app

2. Click on Server Settings

3. Select Integrations from the left navigation

4. Click on Create Webhook:

5. Enter a descriptive name for the webhook (ex. Shodan Monitor) and the channel that the notifications should get sent to.

6. Click on Save Changes

7. Copy the webhook URL

8. Click here to create the notifier in Shodan Monitor.

9. Enter the webhook URL from Discord and add /slack to the end of the URL

10. (optional) Provide a description (ex. Discord channel xyz)

11. Select Apply to existing asset groups if you want to get notifications from all asset groups delivered to Discord

12. Click on the Add Notifier button to save the settings

13. Done! You've successfully connected Shodan Monitor and Discord.

Caution

Make sure to select Apply to existing asset groups! If you don't select that checkbox then you need to manually edit each asset group otherwise you won't receive notifications in Discord.
